Bectadex in an imported amyloglucosidase. Bectadex is derived from a selected strain and is refined through submerged fermentation and down stream process technology. Its systematic name is 1,4-alpha-D-glucan gulucohydrolase. Which catalyzes the hydrolysis of glucosidic bond from the non-reducing ends of starch and yields glucose. It can also slowly catalyze the hydrolysis of alpha 1,6 - glucosidic branch - points and convert into glucose.
It is widely used in the industries of Alcohol, Sugar, Liquor, Wine, Beer, Antibiotic, starch etc. There is no direct or indirect relation with the colour of the Enzyme and its strength. Also a colour variation can be found in separate batches. This Enzyme is highly activated under the temperature between 58 degree to 60 degree and ph. 4.5. The optimum temperature is 58 degree - 60 degree & ph. 4.5.
